FEE SCHEDULE

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FEE

An initial application fee of $75 has to be sent with the Membership Application file. Members applying to upgrade their membership are not required to pay another membership application fee.

A second membership application fee of $75 is due by applicants who have to re-apply, i.e.:

• If a period of two months elapses between the date an incomplete application has been returned to the applicant by CAPAV and the date the applicant resubmit their application,
• If a period of two months elapses between the date membership has been offered by CAPAV to an applicant and the date the applicant accepts the membership, by paying the corresponding membership fee.

The application fee is an administrative fee that is not refundable.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

The initial CAPAV Clinical, Associate and Student membership fees are pro-rata (excluding Psychotherapy in Australia* costs) depending on the remaining membership period when membership is offered to the applicant.

As Student memberships are subsidized (i.e. fees do not cover the cost of actual membership costs), CAPAV is unable to reduce the pro-rata amount below $95.

Affiliate membership fees are $130 per annum.  

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL FEES

CAPAV membership is renewed on an annual basis, the annual period running from July to June.

To renew their annual membership, members of all categories, have to pay their membership fee by the due date of 1 July every year. Penalties of $40 apply for late payment from the 1st of August of the same year.

Annual membership renewal requirements for Clinical and Associate members

To renew annual membership with CAPAV, Clinical and Associate members must fulfill the requirement of a minimum of 15 hours Professional Development (PD) per year as well as the requirement of a minimum of 10 hours of Professional Supervision per year.

CLINICAL WEBSITE REGISTER FEES

CAPAV offers Clinical members to be listed on a referral base, the CAPAV Website Register of Clinical Members. The application form is part of the CAPAV Membership application form (section 10 of the application form) and can be downloaded from CAPAV website (http://www.capav.org.au/membership item 3).

An annual fee of $50 applies for one entry to the Register. Additional entries cost $25 per entry.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION REGISTER APPLICATION FEE

CAPAV offers experienced Clinical Supervisors to be listed on a referral base, the
CAPAV Clinical Supervision Register.  More information and application form are available on CAPAV website  (http://www.capav.org.au/membership item 6).

A one-off application fee has to be paid to be listed on the CAPAV Clinical Supervision Register. This non-refundable fee is $50 for CAPAV Clinical members and $100 for non-CAPAV members.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE FEES

Members may apply for a Leave of Absence (see CAPAV website for more information http://www.capav.org.au/membership item 15).

A one-off non-refundable application fee of $50 has to be paid when a Leave of Absence application is handed in.

The relevant annual membership fee is due when resuming CAPAV membership.

PACFA REGISTER APPLICATION FEE

CAPAV Clinical members who fulfill the PACFA Register eligibility criteria and want to apply to be listed on the PACFA Register have to address their application file to CAPAV. CAPAV will endorse it and hand it to PACFA.  More information and application form are available on CAPAV website  (http://www.capav.org.au/membership item 17)

A non-refundable application fee of $120 (of which $99 are paid to PACFA) is due by the applicant.

ADMINISTRATION FEE FOR EXCEPTIONAL SERVICES

CAPAV reserves the right to charge an administration fee of $35 for exceptional services (example: retrieving archives, etc).
